Mac OS X Leopard

My favorite company has done it again! Taking a poke at Microsoft’s crazy pricing scheme for Vista, Apple will be shipping Mac OS X Leopard in October with the following:

Basic version, $129. Premium version, $129. Business version, $129, Enterprise version $129. Ultimate version, $129.

Nice ey? Windows users also get a taste of Safari 3 Beta, Mac OS X’s built-in web browser. If anyone is still thinking of buying a PC out there, don’t! It’s simple, get a Mac. You get to run the world’s most advanced operating system (Leopard’s a good 5 years ahead of Vista) and a host of other operating systems, including Windows Vista on frankly the best designed machines on the market.

Speaking of design, Apple has realigned it’s website to be in tune with Leopard’s look. There are plenty of good looking scripts and features on the site and I’m sure many web developers have already started looking at the underlying code. I know I have!
